The victim burnt to death in his house was a widower, survived by two children between the ages of seven and ten years.
Lamina Ishola who died as a due to fire incidence in his home pathetically had a tragic exit. The incidence which occurred on the 7th of January, 2016 as reported by Punch started off after when the sick deceased accidentally kicked a bush-lantern that was placed by his side while sleeping.
The fire incidence was said to have started 9:30pm on the same day and in a moment spread and engulfed the whole house but it was too late for old Lamina to be rescued.
“Someone probably took a lantern to Ishola because electricity supply to the house had been disconnected because of his inability to pay the bills.
“May be he accidentally kicked the lantern and that resulted not fire which burnt him to death. His remains were buried on Friday.” Said Oseni a relatives of the deceased.
