In A Bid To Rescue A Woman From Committing Suicide, 5 Got Drowned

A 19 year old woman who was drinking with colleagues by the river early Sunday was in the process of committing suicide in a river in northwest China when she jumped in. 
Her colleague rescued her after which she jumped in again. 

It was after then that her four colleagues attempted to save her but also got drowned.

A passer-by who came to the aid of the people in the water also drowned, the report said.

Officials in the city in the province of Gansu are investigating the incident. This was stated by government of Dunhuang city on a social media account.
