I appreciate that Trump chose Mike Pence as his vice president because he lives and breathes faith in God. Pence’s words and actions match God’s Word. But that doesn’t mean we should vote for Trump.
Reagan divorced only once, but he hadn’t cheated. He was then married to Nancy Reagan until death.
I read the column by Chuck Norris about the similarities between Reagan and Trump, but I don’t trust Donald Trump. I don’t see any evidence that he has converted to God and changes his ways. He is a braggart and showoff. Those actions don’t demonstrate any faith in God. Another reason I don’t trust Trump is that he claims to be a convert “at the last minute.” Where is the evidence?
Reagan divorced Jane Wyman. But he did not cheat on her. The marriage broke up because he spent too much time as president of the Screen Actors Guild and was not home enough. But that is not adultery.
Trump is twice an adulterer. Under God’s commandments, that is a mortal sin. Trump has cheated on the first wife and married his first mistress. He divorced his first wife. Then he cheated on the second wife/first mistress, divorced her, then married his second mistress/present wife.
This is why I don’t agree with Chuck Norris’ column, because if God is not the center of everything, then there is nothing.
God is what Trump lack. He does not talk about God, said he has never asked God for forgiveness and also said he rarely goes to church. Yet he claims he believes in God. His words and actions do not match God’s Word.
