A Man was arrested in Tokyo for abduction attempt on two children

Police in Tokyo’s Koto Ward on Monday arrested a man suspicion of attempting to abduct two children, both under the age of 10, after he allegedly persuaded them to following him.
Noriyasu Tsunoda, 48, a self-employed businessman, spotted the kids, a 7-year-old boy and his 4-year-old sister, playing in a park, and approached them with an electric wire in his hands, Fuji TV reported. Police said Tsunoda told the kids he was about to go and sell the wire and coerced them into following him.

The children followed the man for approximately five minutes, but later returned to the park where they reunited with their mother.

The mother reported the incident to the police. Tsunoda was found in close proximity to the park and was arrested on the spot.

The suspect was quoted by police as saying the children followed him on their own.
