An arrest warrant has been issued after a man was shot, prompting him to visit an Auckland police station.
Conner Edmondson is been sought by police after a 30-year-old arrived at Papakura Police Station yesterday afternoon with a gunshot wound to his leg.
He was taken to Middlemore Hospital.
A Papakura house has been visited by police along with the armed offenders squad yesterday evening.
Conner has connections in the south Auckland area and police advise that he should be not approached.
