A 24 years old Bashir Ahmad, is now a Personal Assistant on New Media to President Muhammadu Buhari.
Bashir Ahmad is an indigene of Kano State, who graduated from Bayero University Kano in 2013, with Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication. Until his appointment, Bashir was the Online Editor (Hausa) for Leadership Newspaper.
It was also discovered that Bashir worked as an online editor and reporter at Rariya Hausa Newspaper, before joining Leadership as an online editor.
The new appointment is with immediate effect as Bashir will oversee Mr. Buhari’s communication on social media and related platforms.
He has served at the Buhari Support Organisation (BSO) prior to the presidential elections.
