A ten year old girl was given out in marriage at Kano State, Nigeria, to a man who is approximately three times her age!!!
Who is going to take care of the other. This is child abuse at its peak.
I can't believe a mother and father will commit such a great crime against the innocency of this little child.
Worst to say, the early exposure of this unripe baby girl to sexual activities will be too brutal and the devastating effect cannot be over emphasized, (VVF, STDs, et.c).
As if that was not enough, the new bride happened to be the second wife of the so called husband. It was discovered that the girl on the left is his first wife, what an error?
What does this man stand to benefit from ruining the lives of these Nigerian future leaders?
Imagine the innocent smile on the girl's face. I wish she knows what she is been introduced into and can fight for her right.
UNICEF, you've got work to do. Please save our world from these great crime against the girl child.
