Visit of Africa Director of the German Foreign Office in Tanzania

The German Embassy is delighted to invite you to a press-talk with the Africa Director of the German Foreign Office, Ambassador Georg Schmidt.


Ambassador Schmidt is currently on an official mission to Tanzania to assess the situation in the country following the elections and to explore ways for further strengthening the friendly and fruitful relations already existing between the two countries.

On the agenda of his stay in Tanzania are meetings with senior diplomats, parliamentarians, as well as civil-society leaders and entrepreneurs. During his visit to Arusha Ambassador Schmidt has also met with senior leaders of the EAC-Headquarters and the President of the African Court on Human and People's Rights.
