FG Approves Conduct of 2015 Promotion Exams for Workers

The acting Head of Service of the Federation, Mrs. Winifred Ekanem Oyo-Ita, has approved the conduct of this year’s promotion examination exercise for officers on Salary Grade Levels 06-13.

Officers in this category, are in the Pool of the Office of the Head of the Service of the Federation.
The examination is billed for December 17 at the Public Service Institute of Nigeria (PSIN).

In a circular titled: ‘Year 2015 Promotion Examination fFor Officers on Salary Grade Levels 06-13 in the Pool of the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation’, signed by the Permanent Secretary, Career Management  Office in the Office of the Head of the Service of the Federation, Mr. Innocent Ogbonnaya  and issued to all the Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs), of the federal government, the Head of Service said that eligible officers on Grade Levels 06-13 must have spent a minimum of two and three years respectively on their present grades by  January 1, 2015.

The circular further advised eligible candidates to attend the screening and accreditation exercise beginning from Monday, December 14, 2015, at the PSIN, from 8:30a.m to 4:30 p.m, with one passport size photograph, the original and one photocopy each of staff identity card, letter of first appointment, evidence of confirmation of appointment, birth certificate or declaration of age and letter of transfer, conversion, absorption or regularisation if applicable.

Other documents required for the exercise, the circular states further, include letters of last two promotion and academic credentials.
