Ezeagu set to receive first female Dep Governor

All roads today lead to Aguobuwa, Ezeagu Local Government Area of Enugu State where the first female Deputy Governor of Enugu State, Cecilia Ezeillo will be treated to a grand reception having broken a gender and political jinx in the annals of the state.

Ezeillo, widow to late Chief Malachy Ezeillo cut her political teeth at the Enugu State House of Assembly in 2011 as member representing Ezeagu Constituency at the State Assembly. During her stint, she was the Committee Chairperson on Judiciary where she enunciated bills to ameliorate the plight of the physically challenged.

Saturday Vanguard checks revealed that Aguobuowa is waiting anxiously to receive one of their illustrious daughters who has given a renewed impetus to the female folk in the area to aspire to greater heights in any chosen area of endeavor.

Meantime, Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State is expected to grace the occasion where he will appraise the achievements of his administration in the past six months.
