Bushfire spreads to pine forest in Mount Lofty Ranges near Adelaide

Water bombers have joined the firefighting effort at a bushfire near Mount Crawford in the Mount Lofty Ranges, east of Adelaide.

The Country Fire Services (CFS) said the fire, which appeared to have started in grass about 4:40pm, had spread to trees in a pine forest.
The blaze is near Cricks Mill Road and Starkey Road.
Twelve firefighting appliances are tackling the blaze, the CFS said.
The CFS is advising people in the area to follow their Bushfire Survival Plans.
