A fire is burning at a Taupo factory tonight, as fire crews race to battle the blaze.

A Fire Service spokesperson said the fire was at a building on Centennial Drive.
Fire crews from as far away as Tokoroa, Rotorua and Tokoroa are also responding to a fire at The Laminex Group.
Fire crews were also dealing with fire in a dust cyclone outside the factory, while several fires were burning inside the building, the Fire Service tweeted.
